• I am a planning solicitor with particular experience advising Registered Providers, Local Planning Authorities and other public sector landowners on broad range of planning matters.

I regularly support clients throughout the development process, from undertaking planning due diligence in connection with property acquisition and charging exercises, through to advising on and negotiating complex planning obligations. I also advise on planning permissions, permitted development rights, enforcement, the Community Infrastructure Levy and other planning-related issues. My work with Registered Providers extends to affordable housing statements, nomination agreements, CIL relief and wider affordable housing matters.

My wider experience includes biodiversity net gain, nitrate allocation agreements, highways and utilities agreements, together with the preparation and submission of Lawful Development Certificate applications and other planning applications on behalf of private and public sector clients.

I have also worked closely with Local Planning Authorities to develop precedent planning documentation, supporting a consistent and effective approach to securing planning obligations.

Alongside my client work, I have experience in delivering bespoke training to Registered Providers and Local Planning Authorities on a wide range of planning topics, including emerging legislative and policy developments and their practical implications.
