Time: 15:00 to 17:00 followed by a reception

Bevan Brittan invites you to attend our in-person Workforce Forum for an interactive Chatham House Rules panel discussion on the topic of sexual safety and the management of serial offenders in the health and care sector, aimed at senior leaders.

It goes without saying that hospitals should be places where all patients, visitors and staff feel safe and are safe. Yet when the 2024 NHS staff survey results were released in 2025, 1 in every 12 NHS workers reported having experienced “unwanted behaviour of a sexual nature”.

Incidents of staff on patient abuse have also increased, with experts warning these figures are likely the tip of the iceberg due to poor reporting systems and a culture of impunity. It comes at a time when system constraints and burn out have dulled professional curiosity, creating an environment where abusers can go under the radar.

In this session, our speakers will cover a range of issues and share their insights on how healthcare leaders can manage these difficult situations, focus on the needs of victims and drive positive change. This is an interactive session; there will be opportunities to ask questions and network with your peers after the panel session.

We are delighted to confirm our panel of guest speakers:
