I am a pensions law specialist with experience advising employers, trustees and public sector organisations on a broad range of pensions matters. I specialise in supporting clients on all aspects of their pension arrangements, including scheme governance, regulatory compliance, benefit and administration issues, member disputes, corporate transactions and de-risking projects, as well as complex public sector pension matters.
I have particular experience advising NHS organisations, local authorities, police and fire authorities on issues arising under the NHS, Local Government, Police and Firefighters’ Pension Schemes, including ill-health and injury benefits, internal dispute resolution procedures and scheme governance. I also advise employers and trustees of private sector defined benefit and defined contribution schemes on transactions, scheme documentation, auto-enrolment, benefit changes and risk management. My practice encompasses non-contentious and contentious matters, including pension disputes, internal dispute resolution procedures, Crown Court and High Court litigation, as well as judicial reviews.
