I am a construction disputes specialist. I advise clients on all forms of dispute management, claims and formal proceedings in relation to construction and engineering matters.
My clients include local authorities/housing associations/NHS trusts/contractors/subcontractors and construction professionals.
With a background in Civil Engineering, I have been advising on matters of construction law in the infrastructure, energy and property sectors for over 20 years. I specialises in dispute resolution and has considerable experience in all the major forms of dispute resolution including courts, adjudication, mediation, arbitration and negotiated settlement.
I have acted as "project counsel" on a number of large scale projects, advising clients on disputes before formal claims and counterclaims are pursued. In addition to my project counsel work, I have been involved in many formal disputes that have proceeded to a full hearing (whether in the courts, adjudication or arbitration). I spent over 12 years advising on projects mainly based in the UK as well as over 13 years advising on disputes arising out of projects in the Middle East region.
