I am an experienced employment lawyer, providing advice and support to both individuals and employees, from SMEs to large national organisations. My experience includes:
- Drafting, amending and advising on employment contracts, policies and procedures to ensure that they are comprehensive and compliant with the most up-to-date legislation.
- Managing and advising on workplace disputes.
- Advising on, chairing and investigating disciplinary processes, grievances and absence management meetings.
- Drafting and advising on settlement agreements and COT3 agreements.
- Negotiating exit agreements.
- Advising on TUPE transfers.
- Managing redundancies, including collective redundancies.
- Managing all stages of the Employment Tribunal process.
I have a keen interest in providing training to clients and I have delivered seminars on topical legal issues and legal updates.
I provide pragmatic and tailored advice to my clients. I take the time to get to know my clients to ensure that I understand how they operate and to provide advice that is specific to and suitable for the business or the specific matter. I never take a generic or a “one size fits all” approach. I am transparent with my clients with regards to costs from the inception of a matter to its conclusion, providing updated cost estimates at each stage of the matter.
