Our specialist Housing Management Team have developed a tried and tested technology-based solution intended to support our local authority clients who are struggling to gain access to properties for compliance inspections primarily in relation to Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and Gas.
This is very topical at present as the Regulator of Social Housing has recently issued a variety of regulatory judgments. We have already been contacted by a number of local authorities for support in this area and we have adapted an existing solution (used for housing disrepair advice) to be used for this purpose.
We operate the solution on a fixed fee basis and offer a Portal which provides our clients with real time reporting on the status of all of their cases 24 hours a day. It enables high volume instructions to be dealt with very swiftly and has already allowed us to get one client back into compliance on 800 failed properties in less than 6 months.
