Leading commercial law firm Bevan Brittan has welcomed its sixth new Partner of 2026.

Kuldip Dhanoya has joined the organisation to lead its Central & Local Government offering, bringing more than 25 years’ experience advising public and private clients on commercial, contractual and public procurement matters.

Previously from TLT where she led the public procurement team, Kuldip has advised across a broad range of sectors, with particular expertise in central and local government work. Her experience includes private finance initiatives and public-private partnerships, as well as advising on complex frameworks, outsourcing projects and joint venture arrangements under the full spectrum of EU/ UK regulated procurement system procedures.

Kuldip’s appointment further enhances Bevan Brittan’s established central and local government practice, building on its extensive experience advising central government departments, associated agencies and local authorities on a wide range of strategic issues.  The firm is also an appointed supplier on the Government Commercial Agency’s Legal Panel for Government framework.

Discussing her arrival at Bevan Brittan, Kuldip said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that is deeply respected across both central and local government.

“Bevan Brittan has built an exceptional reputation in this market, with highly skilled specialists delivering expert support across a broad range of critical issues. I’m excited to lead such a talented team and look forward to further strengthening and expanding this already market-leading offering in the years ahead.”

Jodie Sinclair, Senior Partner at Bevan Brittan, said: “Kuldip is another exceptional hire for us, and once again reinforces our standing in the market and our ability to consistently attract the very best people as we continue to grow our business and client base.

“Kuldip is a high-quality addition to our central and local government expertise, and under her leadership our team will continue to expand our offering and build an even stronger reputation in this important sector. We’re delighted to welcome her to our business.”

This latest appointment follows the recruitment of five other new partners who have joined Bevan Brittan this year. They include new litigation partner Oliver Wright and construction and infrastructure specialist Perveen Akhter.

The business also strengthened its Employment, Pensions and Immigration practice with the appointment of Ben Gorner, while the arrival of corporate specialists Bharti Moore and Nick Fothergill boosted its healthcare and energy expertise respectively.

Bevan Brittan also recently matched its record for the highest number of partner promotions in a single year, with six colleagues being recognised. A total of 33 lawyers have been promoted this year, alongside 11 business services colleagues.
