• I am a projects lawyer in the Energy and Resource Management team, with over 25 years’ commercial and legal experience across the traditional and green energy sectors, and in regulated energy utilities.

I advise clients including project developers, funders, and contractors, as well as clients in the public sector. My experience ranges from behind-the-meter onshore wind generation through to complex offshore floating energy infrastructure. I have worked on energy projects through all stages of their lifecycle from initial options appraisal, through FEED, managing regulatory and market access considerations, contractor selection, construction and commissioning, and supported long-term operations.

Before qualifying as a solicitor I worked in the UK and US energy and utilities sectors, including several years as a commercial project manager, working with the planning, development, construction and operations teams at an operational LNG site. This gave me a deep understanding of the commercial, regulatory and technical challenges which can arise at different stages of the project lifecycle, and a pragmatic approach to resolving those challenges.
