• I am a corporate property lawyer with significant experience of advising health, social care and senior living clients (private, public and not for profit organisations) on real estate matters.

My practice includes advising operators, developers, funders and investors on business and asset transfers (acquisitions and disposals), development work, the property aspects of refinancing matters and various leasing structures all with associated funding arrangements.

I am recognised by my clients as a “strong negotiator and communicator" and for “providing excellent professional advice in a calm and assuring manner”.

Before converting to law, I worked in care homes, hospitals and other health sector bodies in a variety of strategic and operational roles, including in national project management as part of a fast-track graduate management scheme, so I appreciate and understand the demands on decision-makers in this sector.

    • Acting on a £30million acquisition of a portfolio of care homes for the elderly for a new entrant into the social care market.
    • Advising one of the UK’s largest retirement village operators on the acquisition and development of various sites.
    • Numerous complex/high value acquisitions and disposals (freehold and leasehold) for healthcare clients.
    • Lead advisor to a national charity with over 6,000 sites across the UK on asset management and strategy.
