New Statutory Guidance on the Best Value Duty
Guidance on the best value standards and interventions has recently been issued by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. This provides more detailed and descriptive standards expected of local authorities to comply with the Best Value Duty, in order to improve in the way in which their functions are exercised.
