I am a lawyer in the Health & Care Regulatory – Health & Care Education team, based in our head office in Bristol. I act for a range of public sector clients including Integrated Care Boards, NHS Trusts and Local Authorities.
I provide advice on a range of subject matters including ethical decision-making and the exercise of public functions. I have a keen interest in mental health and mental capacity law and serious medical treatment cases in the Court of Protection.
Prior to qualifying I gained experience in defending clinical negligence claims against NHS Trusts and judicial review challenges against ombudsmen and local authorities. I have a particular interest in public law challenges in the health and education sphere.
