Providing planning, listed building, scheduled monument and compulsory purchase advice to a high profile developer in their role as joint venture partner to Birmingham City Council for the £1.9bn redevelopment of the 17-hectare former wholesale markets in Birmingham City Centre (Smithfield) to provide over 3,000 new homes, 82,000 sqm of new office space and 44,000 sqm of new retail space.

Advising the unitary authority on the successful promotion of a hybrid planning application, listed building consent, CPO and SRO promotion to facilitate the delivery of Langarth Garden Village being a significant new settlement just outside Truro, Cornwall comprising a 3,500 home garden village with new schools, medical facilities, shops, hotels, care homes, pubs, restaurants, public open space, park and ride and sports facilities.

Advising the local authority (in its role as landowner and applicant) on the promotion of the strategic housing allocation and subsequent planning application for the new Manydown Garden Community. The development will include approximately 3,500 homes, a country park, schools, retail and community facilities.
