  • Webinar | Tuesday 9 June 2026 | 12:30 - 13:30 | 1 Hour

Private Patient Units providing private care by NHS hospitals are now a regular part of NHS activity.

In this webinar, Joanne Easterbrook will be joined by Andrew Bershadski, a clinical negligence barrister from 2 Temple Gardens will be discussing some of the issues that can arise from both a claimant and a defendant perspective when bringing a claim.

    Topics to be covered include:

    • What happens when a patient moves between NHS and Private care?
    • What are the evidential challenges, how does indemnity work and how does do vicarious and contractual liability fit into the picture?

If you are working in a PPU or an NHS Trust or managing a PPU claim, this webinar will help you navigate the claims landscape.

  • Please be aware that places for this seminar are limited and the webinar may become oversubscribed.

Where we are heavily oversubscribed, we may limit places per organisation.

Advance registration is recommended, as registration will close at the advertised start time.

Our clients have priority, but we endeavour to increase capacity where we can to allow all those who wish to attend a place.

If possible, some sessions may be recorded and made available to view after the webinar.

There is no charge to attend this webinar.
