• I am a solicitor specialising in construction law. I assist on a wide range of construction-related disputes, including matters involving pre-action protocol process, litigation, adjudication, mediation and other forms of ADR. I have worked with both private and public sector clients, including employers, contractors and local authorities.

My work to date has involved supporting senior colleagues in advising on disputes relating to payment, workmanship and design defects, delays, extension of time, as well as assisting with dispute mitigation strategies and settlement agreements.

Before qualifying, I gained in-house experience at an engineering consultancy company, where I supported on transactional matters including reviewing bespoke and standard form consultancy and engineering contracts, advising on uninsured obligations, and assessing scope and risk issues. This gave me valuable insight into contract administration, project delivery, and the commercial challenges faced by clients in the sector.

  • Part of a team acting for a public sector client in a multi-million pound claim against a contractor in relation to substantial defects in cladding and windows in their high risk development, assisting in preparation for mediation which led to a successful settlement.
