• I am an employment lawyer, primarily advising NHS Foundation Trusts on all HR and workforce matters. In addition, I also act for independent health and social care organisations, local government departments, and universities.

I have particular experience of representing a number of NHS organisations in managing and defending multi-strand claims ranging from unfair dismissal to more complex discrimination and whistleblowing claims brought in Employment Tribunals and the Employment Appeal Tribunal.

As well as my contentious work, I assist my clients on a broad array of non-contentious matters, including advising on disciplinary processes and grievances, advising on settlement agreements, drafting employment contracts, drafting and implementing bespoke policies to support strategic objectives, and supporting independent investigations.

I regularly deliver internal training for my clients on various aspects of employment law including workplace adjustments, whistleblowing, and carer’s rights. I also provide advice to my clients on complex gender identities and philosophical belief discrimination.

I pride myself on the proactive, responsive, and solutions-focused approach I apply when working collaboratively with my clients to handle their complex and sensitive employment law issues efficiently and effectively. My overriding aim is to support NHS Trusts to develop compassionate and safe workforce practices, improving the overall employee experience, and in turn, reducing the risks of litigation.
