I lead the firm's Housing team and specialise in transactional construction law with a focus on formulating effective procurement and contracting strategies for both capital projects and long-term asset management programmes. My work encompasses corporate and contractual joint ventures, development agreements, construction contracts, framework and term contracts, consultant appointments and all associated security documentation.
I specialise in arrangements for new build and refurbishment works for regeneration, mixed-use, housing and office developments, contractual joint venture and documentation. I also advise procuring authorities, funders and contractors who work alongside or within the housing sector.
Through working with clients at the interface of the public and private sectors, I have amassed a great deal of experience in advising authorities on how to get the best out of the competitive dialogue procurement process. I also have unique expertise in guiding bidders on how to maximise their chance of success through the adoption of the most appropriate bid strategy.
He is extremely able and we feel very confident in his advice...he is particularly skilled at thinking strategically and handling relationships...very amiable, client-focused and good in negotiation meetings.
