I am a Senior Associate in the Construction and Engineering Contract Management and Dispute Resolution team.
I have experience in assisting and advising clients on the resolution and avoidance of a wide variety of construction disputes. I deal with disputes relating to issues involving changes/variations, compensation events/relevant events, loss & expense, delay, payment (both interim payments and final account) and defects.
I act on behalf of clients in both public and private sections to include developers, local authorities, NHS trusts, housing associations, contractors and consultants alike across a range of projects and have experience of litigation in the Technology & Construction Court, Adjudication, Arbitration and Mediation.

I have acted on a number of matters for both public and private sector clients to include:
- Advising in respect of a live £613m multi-purpose redevelopment project, which had been hit by significant delays and cost increases resulting in serial adjudications over an 18-month period
- Supporting a key client on the delivery of a £30bn project where I provided advice on the merits of numerous delay and cost claims arising from various subcontractor packages.
- Advising on an £33m adjudication brought against a developer client.
- Assisting on a series of 4 adjudications (within a 13-month time period), resulting in a saving of £5m to the client against sums claimed by the contractor.
- Assisting on an arbitration under the LCIA Rules, resulting in a seven-figure settlement.
- Assisting on a £3.5m professional negligence adjudication on behalf of a local authority client against a multi-disciplinary design team.
- Leading on a successful six figure technical adjudication on behalf of a contractor client.
- Leading on an adjudication on behalf of a subcontractor client in relation to the wrongful deduction of contra charges by the main contractor resulting in a six-figure settlement.
