• I am a specialist employment lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. I have a particular focus on complex whistleblowing, discrimination and pay disputes. My clients value the clear, pragmatic and risk-based advice I provide.

I act for employers in a number of sectors including the NHS (including a secondment to NHS England), independent healthcare providers, central and local government, NDPBs, education and household name retailers. I also act for international businesses with UK operations and assist overseas-based general counsel, HR and managers to navigate UK employment law.

I have acted in high profile and complex employment litigation including claims reaching the Supreme Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. I also have experience acting in several multi-party claims include one involving tens of thousands of claimants with a value in excess of £4bn.

I am often called upon to advise employers on a range of issues including sensitive matters involving senior level employees including executive board members. I advise on change programmes which involve TUPE, redundancy and reorganisation often involving unionised workforces. I also draft and review contracts of employment, employment policies and settlement agreements.

I frequently provide employment law training to clients. Recent training has included whistleblowing, internal disciplinary investigations and providing employment law updates.
