Leading commercial law firm Bevan Brittan has been reappointed to Historic England’s legal services panel.

The public body works to help communities and specialists care for, enjoy and celebrate England’s historic environment, and Bevan Brittan will support the organisation and its subsidiary charity English Heritage across a number of legal disciplines.

These range from planning, property, estate management, commercial, procurement and subsidy control to areas like intellectual property, employment, pension law, commercial litigation, construction and judicial review.

David Hobbs, a Partner and property expert at Bevan Brittan, specialises in advising organisations across the culture and heritage sector.

Commenting on the reappointment, he said: “We are proud to once again have the opportunity to support Historic England as it continues its incredibly important mission to look after and protect our historic environment for future generations.

“The work of Historic England and other organisations within the culture and heritage space has a real, tangible impact on a great number of people and local communities. We are delighted to play a role in such vital work and look forward to further developing our relationship with this key organisation in the sector.”
