I am an Employment lawyer with over 5 years’ experience providing advice to a wide-range of clients on all aspects of the employment relationship.
My clients include NHS Trusts, local authorities, housing associations, and private organisations.
I have particular experience in defending complex Employment Tribunal claims, including:
claims of discrimination, whistleblowing,
unfair dismissal and pay claims,
supporting clients from receipt of the Notice of Claim, through to multi-day Final Hearings and/or settlement.
I also regularly advise on non-contentious matters, including redundancies, grievances, disciplinaries, terminations, sickness absence management, and TUPE.
-
- Successfully defended an NHS Trust at a 12-day Final Hearing for constructive unfair dismissal, race discrimination and victimisation, having narrowed the claim via successful Deposit Order applications.
- Awarded costs and wasted costs following the successful defence of a 5-day race discrimination claim.
- Supported a retail client through a redundancy process with an international element.
- Concluded an advantageous settlement for a wages claim issued by 24 claimants.
