Leading commercial law firm Bevan Brittan has been successfully reappointed to the Housing Associations’ Legal Alliance (HALA) legal framework.

HALA is a collaboration of some of the UK’s leading housing associations, and was formed for the purposes of achieving significant cost savings and increased efficiencies in the sourcing of external legal services for its members. The tender process was run by specialist legal consultancy Kennedy Cater, which also manages the framework.

Building on its existing relationships, Bevan Brittan will now be providing an expanded service to framework members across six lots:

Louise Leaver, a Partner and banking specialist at Bevan Brittan who advises housing organisations nationwide, welcomed the announcement.

She said: "We are delighted to have been reappointed to the HALA framework, as well as to expand our offering across additional lots. We look forward to continuing to build relationships with all of the member organisations.

"These housing associations play a vital role in improving lives and strengthening communities, and we are proud to work alongside them as they continue their important mission."

The appointment further strengthens Bevan Brittan's position as a trusted legal adviser to the housing sector, providing specialist expertise across property, governance, development, regeneration, funding and community investment projects.
