Michelle Dean

Solicitor

  • Profile
  • I am a solicitor in our litigation; advisory and regulatory department specialising in regulatory law. I joined Bevan Brittan upon qualification in 2001 and my work currently covers many aspects of professional discipline and misconduct, including preparation of disciplinary proceedings for the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.

I am also involved in the preparation of cases for hearings before the Professional Conduct Committee of the GTCE (now the Teaching Agency). In addition I have conducted numerous investigations in respect of alleged breaches by Local Authority Councillors of the Members’ Code of Conduct.

Previously, I have also undertaken interventions and enquiry and report work for the SRA and have a wide experience of the complex issues arising in these areas of practice. My background is in general commercial and property litigation and I have experience of cases involving contractual disputes, landlord and tenant matters, property rights, employment related claims, and fraud.
