• I am a Property Litigation lawyer. I advise clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious property and estate management issues for both commercial and residential portfolios.

I often advise on commercial leasehold disputes, including both bringing and defending possession claims, arrears of rent and service charges and breach of covenant issues. I also advise on matters of nuisance and health and safety regulatory issues such as fire safety and occupiers’ liability.

I have extensive experience of residential property litigation with a strong emphasis on claims under leasehold and enfranchisement legislation, acting for a range of clients from landlords with sizeable property portfolios to tenants. I also have experience of the rapidly expanding field of retirement property litigation including such aspects as development disputes and breach of covenant claims.

I offer clear and practical advice on Real Property disputes, such as excessive use of rights of way, riparian rights and trespass.

My clients include local authorities, NHS trusts, universities and retirement home developers.
